Anniversary symposium for young Nano researchers

On the occasion of his 65th birthday the scientific director of the CeNTech, Professor Harald Fuchs, organized a symposium for young and excellent Nano researchers on trends in Nano science. Companions from the University, the City of Münster and former colleagues attended the ensuing reception to congratulate.

CeNTech Strategy Workshop 2016

The focus of the second internal CeNTech Strategy Workshop was to welcome and integrate the new scientists at CeNTech - as three new companies and further scientists from Münster University joined the CeNTech facility in 2015. About 40 scientists representing academic and industrial research at CeNTech presented their current research activities and discussed potential cooperations.

Münster will host the 7th NRW Nano Conference which will take place on the 7th and 8th of December in the MCC Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland. The event is supported by the "Alliance for Science Münster" as Nanotechnology is of strategic importance for the City of Münster.

Innovations based on Nanotechnology

20 representatives from companies located in the Coesfeld region visited the Center for Nanotechnology. CeNTech scientists from academia and industry presented their latest R&D projects and products. The event was part of the "Laborgespräch" (laboratory meetings) series organized by the business development agency WFC destrict Coesfeld.

New nano based technology to detect cancer cells

Researchers from the KIT Karlsruhe, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and CeNTech, among them CeNTech director Prof. Harald Fuchs, developed a new method to detect single cancer cells in the blood before they nest in the tissue and form a new tumor.
