Respect for these top achievements: The Center for Nanotechnology (CeNTech GmbH) and Bioanalytik Münster e.V. awarded special prizes to the winners of the 'Jugend forscht' regional competition Münster 2017 operated by the IHK Nordwestfalen. "The special prizes should encourage you in your scientific curiosity. Try to be open for new exciting projects", CeNTech CEO Dr. Thomas Robbers motivated the young people.

Breakfast and technological know-how shared in a generally understandable format: The first "Science Breakfast" for the Münster region took place at CeNTech. About 50 researchers and entrepreneurs from the Münster region attended the event to hear about current CeNTech R&D projects . This new format was developed at CeNTech in collaboration with the "Alliance for Science Münster". "It is time to learn about the latest developments in the science park and technology park," Professor Harald Fuchs stated.

North Rhine-Westphalian Science Minister Svenja Schulze visited the CeNTech booth and got an overview of the current research developments at CeNTech. Minister Schulze was accompanied, among others, by Hélène Chraye, European Union, and Dr. Thomas Robbers, Wirtschaftsförderung Münster.

On December 6th, 2016, Helene Chraye, Head of the Unit Advanced Materials and Nanotechnologies of the European Commission, visited CeNTech. Mrs. Chraye, accompanied by representatives of the NRW Research Ministry and the Cluster NMWP.NRW, was welcomed by Prof. Harald Fuchs, who presented the CeNTech concept and activities.

On the occasion of his 65th birthday the scientific director of the CeNTech, Professor Harald Fuchs, organized a symposium for young and excellent Nano researchers on trends in Nano science. Companions from the University, the City of Münster and former colleagues attended the ensuing reception to congratulate.

The focus of the second internal CeNTech Strategy Workshop was to welcome and integrate the new scientists at CeNTech - as three new companies and further scientists from Münster University joined the CeNTech facility in 2015. About 40 scientists representing academic and industrial research at CeNTech presented their current research activities and discussed potential cooperations.
