Pixel Photonics announces €13.5 Mio in funding

Pixel Photonics, a spin-off from the University of Münster located at CeNTech, received a total funding of €13.5 Mio (€5 Mio seed round financing, €8.5 Mio from the European Innovation Council (EIC)). The company is specialized in high-performance single-photon detection technology and is going to use the financing for transforming superconducting light detectors from complex laboratory instruments into scalable chip solutions.
