Quantum-Technology

The CeNTech is home to the Department for Quantum Technology of the Faculty of Physics, covering experimental and theoretical research into quantum information processing, quantum communication and quantum sensing. The Center for NanoTechnology provides unique capabilities for exploring the properties of quantum systems at the nanoscale through leveraging chip-scale platforms developed at the Münster Nanofabrication Facility. The counterintuitive features of the quantum world are being investigated in solid state, superconducting and photonic implementations and translated into new technological solutions, e.g. for quantum Lidar, quantum cryptography and computing.
